Thompson Seattle, an Olson Kundig-designed lifestyle boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Seattle, is setting a new standard of luxury with a sophisticated edge with the launch of two new 1,000 square foot Penthouse Suites. The suites, perched at the top of the 12-story glass lantern structure and featuring breathtaking views of the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains, are equipped with a king bedroom, living room, dining room and fully equipped kitchens; washer/dryer, spa-like bathrooms, original artwork, and exclusive guest experiences. The suites will be unveiled just as the property welcomes the summer season with a fully refreshed Nest, the city's most exciting rooftop bar & lounge.

The Penthouse Suites

The interiors of the new Penthouse Suites, designed by Seattle-based Haus + Home, feature style touches reminiscent of Thompson Seattle's namesake suite with warm woods, rich leather and modern accents in deep browns and soft grays. The suites are complemented with art curated by Julianne Johnson and Austin Hicks of XO Seattle including works featuring local, Seattle street photography by Akin Olugbade, original acrylic on canvas by Ariel Parrow, Zachary Schomberg & Sean Hamilton, and a nod to the Seattle music scene with gig posters by Carlos Ruiz alongside mixed media by Julianne Johnson.

Each expansive open-air living room features a 65" Smart LED TV, plush sofas by Of Iron and Oak and floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing jaw-dropping views of the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains. The kitchen features top of the line appliances, lighting fixtures and finishes, along with a dining room equipped with everything you need to entertain a few guests for happy hour or a custom catered dinner for two with Executive Chef, Chris Ingmire.

In each suite's master king bedroom, luxury bedding with 400 thread count SFERRA linens await, with minimal windows designed to let less light in to encourage restful sleep - yet still allowing for sumptuous views. Suite bathrooms include spacious walk-in showers and one boasts a deep soaking tub, exclusive D.S. & Durga bath toiletries, plush robes and hair dryers.
