Hyatt Regency Chicago undergoes a $102M renovation
Nestled along the Chicago Riverwalk, Hyatt Regency Chicago overlooks the Chicago River and Lake Michigan with 2,032 guestrooms and suites that offer river, lake and cityscape views. Better yet, the hotel is just steps from famed landmarks, such as Magnificent Mile, Navy Pier and Millennium Park, among many more of the city's top attractions.
Hyatt Regency Chicago's $102 million transformative phased renovation journey will reach completion in Spring 2024. The renovation will encompass each of its 2,032 guest rooms and suites along with the Regency and Crystal Ballrooms. The latest update to Illinois' largest hotel comes on the heels of a $168 million lobby and meeting space rejuvenation in 2013, bringing the total investment into the hotel to more than $270 million in less than 10 years.
The re-energized guest rooms feature a simple and open design, contemporary furniture, and plush comforts to create an intentional sense of calm from the moment you step inside. Spaces are uncluttered, thoughtfully curated for work and socializing, and endlessly flexible. The Windy City's rich history is represented in art installments throughout and design elements feature graphic patterns of Chicago's Art Deco, while the color palette pays homage to Chicago's Greystones.

With 240,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, the hotel is able to accommodate meetings of all sizes and personalized service to ensure every detail is taken care of. As part of the $102M renovation, the Regency and Crystal Ballrooms will receive enhancements (more to come!).
