The beloved resort to kick-off the summer season with a redesign of the legendary Tiki Hut, a full update to the resort pool and an all-new beachfront pavilion for events.
Ahead of the summer season, the beloved Beach House Hilton Head Island will unveil a full transformation of the region's only on-the-beach live music venue, Tiki Hut, a completely reimagined and expanded resort pool, and a brand-new open-air pavilion ideal for weddings, corporate events, concerts and more. Providing endless sun, sand and good vibes, the property will welcome the 2024 summer season with new programming – including the launch of brunch for the first time in the history of Tiki Hut – to celebrate the newest chapter for Beach House Hilton Head Island.
A Hilton Head Island institution that opened in 1977, the iconic Tiki Hut is currently undergoing a full transformation, bringing an all-new look to the Coligny Beach Park entrance. The new design will expand the Tiki Hut structure perpendicular to the coastline to maximize ocean views in addition to offering a new bar, fire pits, new decking and the relocation of the stage, ensuring toes-in-sand, drinks-in-hand entertainment year-round. For the first time in its 50 years, Tiki Hut will host a weekend brunch service, featuring live music, Bloody Marys and Lowcountry-inspired dishes. Ideal for those looking to kick off their day with a beachside breakfast or wedding parties hosting a farewell brunch for their guests, the new brunch menu has something for everyone. Featuring music seven days a week (weather permitting), the beachfront bar will be expanding its roster of performers as well as its hours in 2024 so beachgoers and hotel guests can get down with three daily sets year-round.
Meanwhile, Beach House Hilton Head Island's overnight guests will dive into a fully updated, expanded resort pool area, providing more space to relax and soak up the sun. The deck will offer additional trees for shade, cabanas for poolside lounging and an all-new fire pit for taking in ocean views any time of year. The fully furnished and well-equipped cabanas each feature a 42-inch high-definition TV, mini bar, ceiling fan, sectional lounge sofa, and USB power outlets. Providing the perfect setting for romantic relaxing for couples, pre-wedding festivities, family reunions, college gameday viewing and more, leisure guests as well as groups can gather poolside with cabana rental packages tailored to their needs.
The property will also welcome the newest addition to its event offerings: The Dunes. This elegant and adaptable outdoor pavilion located directly on Coligny Beach was designed with the Lowcountry in mind. Ideal for those looking for a true oceanfront wedding ceremony and reception, large groups seeking a dynamic event space with seaside views, and on-property concerts, groups will be treated to picture-perfect sunsets and expansive oceanfront views from this brand-new space. Blending natural beauty with modern interpretations of Lowcountry style, the versatile new space features thoughtful, intricate detailing and memorable architectural character. Careful to avoid disturbing nesting turtles, thoughtful lighting design went into all parts of the project. When it's not reserved for events, guests will be welcome to get out of the sun and play large-format games, including Connect Four and Jenga.
The newest chapter for the resort will also include a lineup of new partners and exclusive events that will be announced following the completion of construction.
