The Hilton Guiyang will be situated in the commercial district of Guiyang, one of the largest cities in the western region of China. In June 2007, a new joint venture company was launched by RREEF (the global alternative investment management arm of Deutsche Bank) and private equity firm H&Q Asia Pacific to develop and manage a portfolio of more than 25 focused service hotels in mainland China under the Hilton Garden Inn brand. The joint venture is actively identifying sites with the target of acquiring at least 15 sites within the first 3 years of operation.
