Cindy Estis Green

Washington, D.C. – The Knowland Group today announced that Cindy Estis Green, author of Demystifying Distribution 2.0 and The Travel Marketers Guide to Social Media and Social Networks, has joined Knowland"s board of directors. Cindy Estis Green"s career spans thirty-five years in the hospitality industry. Following four years in a marketing role at the National Restaurant Association, Ms. Green served seven years with Hilton International as head of corporate marketing information systems and research and as a general manager in two full-service properties. She founded and was CEO of Driving Revenue, a dating mining and analytics hospitality firm that was later acquired by Pegasus Solutions.

In her latest publication, Distribution Channel Analysis: A Guide for Hotels, the third in the

Demystifying Distribution series, Ms. Green shares her unique knowledge about distribution strategy and its implications for hotel profitability. Leveraging her expertise, she launched Kalibri Labs in 2012 offering data analytics, data modelling and intelligence services to hotels and technology companies in the hospitality industry.

Ms. Green holds a Bachelor of Science from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University and a MBA in Marketing from The American University. She was named one of the top 25 greatest minds by HSMAI, featured as Marketing Innovator of the Year and a Leader and Visionary by Lodging Magazine. She was inducted into the Hospitality Technology Hall of Fame by the HSMAI DC Chapter Hall of Fame in recognition of her many contributions to sales and marketing technology. Ms. Green was honored as one of the 90 Influential Hoteliers, commemorating the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration"s 90th anniversary. She was past-Chair of the HSMAI Foundation and is a current member of the HITEC Advisory Council, the HSMAI Resort Advisory County and HSMAI Foundation board of trustees.
