Geoff Thompson has been promoted Vice President of Operations at Cooper Hotels

Geoff Thompson has been promoted to vice president of operations. He most recently served as both general manager of the Embassy Suites Detroit Metro Airport and regional director of development and operations. A University of Mississippi graduate, Thompson has held general manager positions at several of the company's hotels since join ing Cooper Hotels in 1994.
