Ram Hiralal

Dubai's postcard hotel brand Jumeirah has landed in the tranquil Indian Ocean destination of Bali. Jumeirah Bali is now open, an all-villa retreat with a keen focus on dining. Running the hotel is general manager Ram Hiralal, an experienced GM with stints across Bali, Maldives Thailand and Kuala Lumpur.

In 2003, Hiralal was director of rooms at The Regent Kuala Lumpur, holding the position for three years. Staying in the upper echelons of hospitality, she moved to Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru in the same position, later promoted to resort manager in 2007.

Remaining with the luxe Toronto hotel group for another three years, she moved to Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan as resort manager until 2012. She next went to Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui as resort manager again, staying for half a decade.

Her most recent role prior to joining the new international Jumeirah was as GM of the COMO Shambhala Estate also in Bali.
