Hotel Valencia Santana Row is excited to announce the appointment of Richard Bartoni as the boutique property's Director of Food & Beverage. Bartoni will develop and lead a team responsible for all food and beverage operations relating to the restaurant, catering, and events on property, implementing effective strategies to maintain quality while continuously improving guest satisfaction at Hotel Valencia Santana Row.

Richard Bartoni brings ten years of managerial experience and nearly three decades of culinary expertise to his new role as Director of Food and Beverage at Hotel Valencia Santana Row. Formerly the Area General Manager at Sodexo, Director of Food and Beverage at Arcis Golf at Ruby Hill and Bay Club at Boulder Ridge, Bartoni has also excelled as Head Chef for Nordstrom Restaurant Group and in fine dining catering. In his new position, Bartoni will be responsible for overseeing the entirety of food and beverage operations on property including the hotel's three concepts: Oveja Negra, Vbar, and Cielo. Bartoni will be responsible for fiscal and operational tasks such as developing menus and operating within budget, encouraging professional growth, and leading communication throughout the entirety of the f&b department.

Having gained an Associate of Arts degree from Leaderwolfe Culinary Academy in Sacramento, CA, along with a WSET II Sommelier Certification from Napa Valley Wine Academy, Bartoni brings with him a refined palate and passion for creating unforgettable dining experiences. He prides himself as an innovative risk taker who enjoys finding balance in the latest food and beverage trends while maintaining timeless quality. With a commitment to genuine leadership and high level of service expectations, Bartoni's vision and expertise is sure to further enhance the talent in Hotel Valencia's culinary portfolio.
