Maya Hotels, a Charlotte-based hotel company, is thrilled to announce the promotion of Krishna Deva to CEO.
Krishna came on board in 2019. Throughout her tenures, her efforts have molded the company's evolution and fostered its growth. As she carries the torch with her new role, Krishna continues to champion collaborative leadership. Krishna will oversee all strategic planning and investment activity for the company. Krishna is responsible for driving operational excellence and financial performance across the organization.
Krishna Deva served as Vice President at Maya Hotels from 2019 to 2024. Before joining Maya Hotels, Krishna was a management consultant with Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where she conducted a variety of strategy engagements with Fortune 100 companies. Prior to that, Krishna was employed by Pebblebrook Hotel Trust (NYSE: PEB) as a Corporate Finance and Investor Relations financial analyst, working directly with the CFO and Vice President of Finance to conduct quarterly reporting, coordinate and execute $1.2B of capital markets activity, maintain key portfolio financial models, and provide investor relations materials. Krishna received her B.S. with Distinction from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
