Mary Jo Finocchiaro

MaryJo Finocchiaro is Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of BRE Hotels & Resorts, a hospitality advisory firm and Blackstone affiliate. Ms. Finocchiaro co-built the company managing the formation and growth over the last 15 years and is responsible for the financial oversight and operation of 165 luxury resorts and focused service hotels situated in high demand markets with significant barriers to entry. The portfolio contains nearly 30,000 guestrooms that generate over $2 billion in revenue with an estimated $9 billion total enterprise value. Prior to that, Ms. Finocchiaro held various executive management positions including Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer with Boca Resorts, Inc., a publicly held and New York Stock Exchange listed real estate operating company with a focus on the ownership and operation of iconic resorts from 1997 to 2004. From 1988 to 1997, Ms. Finocchiaro held a number of financial management positions for Bluegreen Corporation, another publicly held and New York Stock Exchange listed developer and marketer of resorts and planned residential and golf communities including serving as their Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and Director of Investor Relations. Prior to Bluegreen, Ms. Finocchiaro practiced with Price Waterhouse (now known as PWC).
