Peter Dunn is a hospitality veteran with 43 years of hotel experience in both Canada and the U.S. Since June 2018, he has managed the 325-room Emory Conference Center Hotel in Atlanta. The Emory Conference Center Hotel completed a $20M renovation in 2022 encompassing every area of the hotel including guest rooms, public space, conference space, major mechanical, IT upgrades and back-of-house improvements. Originally from Montreal, Canada, Mr. Dunn's career began in 1978 at Le Chateau Champlain, a Canadian Pacific Hotel (now Fairmont Hotels). In his early years, his career path was in sales and marketing, primarily in AAA Five Diamond hotels, including Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts in both Ottawa and Montreal, as well as several independent hotels in the province of Quebec. In 1992, he relocated to the U.S. with Hotels of Distinction, Inc. assuming the position of General Manager at The Marque of Atlanta Hotel & Conference Center. From there, his career would take him to Orlando, Miami, Charlotte, Montreal, Baton Rouge and back to Atlanta. During this time, Mr. Dunn managed several major brands including Doubletree, Hilton, Westin, Renaissance, Le Meridien and Hyatt.
