LAS VEGAS & BRUSSELS, Belgium | Plans for a new high-rise luxury all-suite hotel and condominium tower in Las Vegas were announced today by Conrad® Hotels and Las Vegas-based Majestic Resorts. The $350,000,000 project located in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip (one block north of the "Wynn" and half-a-block west of the Convention Center) will encompass a 378 all-suite five-star Conrad Hotel as well as 286 ultra luxury residences.

"Our goal is to be the best not the biggest," said Lorenzo Doumani, CEO, Majestic Resorts. "Everything will be of the highest quality. But we refuse to be stuffy or boring. We will be hip and fun. There will not be a casino; instead everyone will be treated like a high-roller."

For those visiting Las Vegas during Super Bowl Weekend, a special informative and celebratory event for the press, business community and public will take place Saturday, February 5, from 6-10 p.m., at the site (2955 Las Vegas Blvd. South). Food, drink and entertainment will be provided.

The Conrad Hotel will occupy the lower 30 floors of the 60-story tower while the upper 30 floors will comprise the Majestic Manors and Residences. The elegant European-styled two-story lobby and entrance structure will feature concierge, 24-hour doorman and valet services; a 14,000 square foot health club and European luxury spa (with an Olympic-sized, heated outdoor swimming pool) and an upscale dining, shopping and entertainment complex. The Conrad Hotel will also offer a fully staffed business center and offices, 13 meetings and boardroom facilities, one main and one junior ballroom. Guests and residents will enjoy all the amenities and services of Las Vegas' premiere luxury hotel without ever leaving "home."

The Majestic Plaza will boast nearly 100,000 square feet, welcoming an international newsstand, coffeehouse, bakery, wine & cheese shop, deli, sushi bar, juice bar, gourmet market and the debut of three spectacular restaurants including Mastro's Steakhouse and Jazz club. Much like its Beverly Hills affiliate, the renowned Mastro's will offer an unparalleled dining experience accompanied by live music and dancing seven nights a week in the piano bar. By night, the Majestic Court will be home to HEAVEN, a fantastic, chic nightclub that will rival the hottest nightspots in London, Paris, New York and Los Angeles.

Groundbreaking is scheduled for May 2005. At 654 feet in height, the project will be the tallest such building in Las Vegas. The residential component will be the first with an address on the world-famous Las Vegas Strip. Completion is expected in December 2006.

"We are delighted to work with Majestic Resorts for the operation and management of such an outstanding hotel project," said Dieter H. Huckestein, Chairman and CEO of Conrad Hotels. "We believe this hotel, not only for its location but for its outstanding features, will be extremely successful. This hotel development certainly fits into our worldwide expansion plan and complements the Conrad hotels we currently provide in New York, Miami and other major gateway cities around the world."
