Langham Hospitality Group Announces First Hotel In Jakarta
Langham Hospitality Group announced today an agreement with Agung Sedayu Group to operate The Langham hotel in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia. Strategically located within the prestigious new complex of District 8 at SCBD (Sudirman Central Business District) with easy access and close proximity to the city's most important financial, cultural and entertainment centres, The Langham, Jakarta is expected to open in 2017.

Starting from 42 square metres to the opulently elegant 327-square metre penthouse, The Langham, Jakarta has a wide range of rooms, studio, one and two bedroom suites to suit business, corporate groups or guests travelling for leisure.

Modeled after its namesake at The Langham, London which was the first grand hotel to serve this delightful presentation in 1865, the Palm Court at The Langham, Jakarta will set the definitive standard in serving stylish and elegant afternoon teas in the city.
Headlining the other culinary offerings will be T'ang Court, the signature Cantonese restaurant reminiscent of its Michelin-starred counterpart at The Langham, Hong Kong; a sake and sushi bar; and the all-day dining restaurant featuring international cuisine and which may accommodate 120 guests. For those who enjoy a more languidly chic experience, there is the Sky Bar and Lounge, and a poolside bar, all of which will offer guests an appetizing selection of drinks and bite-sized meals.
