Previously being equipped with magstripe-based Vingcard Classic locks meant that Radisson Blu Sobeiski could take advantage of the solution’s scalable design in order to adopt more secure RFID-based key encryption standards. This advantage not only minimizes any potential risk of unauthorized keycard cloning but also prevents keycard demagnetization issues from arising and affecting guest satisfaction. The property was notably able to upgrade to RFID capabilities without having to undergo the costly replacement of existing door hardware.
