Kemar DurfieldKemar Durfield has been named Chef de Cuisine, Four Seasons Resort Lāna‘i, overseeing all hotel culinary operations including ONE FORTY, American Steak Hawaiian Seafood, in-room dining and extensive catering offerings for weddings, social occasions and other events at the Resort, reopening February 1st following a lobby-to-roof, multimillion dollar transformation. Durfield brings a wealth of operational knowledge and creativity to the kitchens and has had the pleasure of working with many celebrity chefs including James Boyce, William Bradley and Michael Mina. He comes to Four Seasons Resort Lāna‘i with over 20 years of experience in the hospitality and restaurant industries, including Chef de Cuisine at the Halekulani as well as The Grand Del Mar's Addison restaurant. Durfield is a graduate of the Scottsdale Culinary Institute and was inducted into the prestigious Relais & Chateaux in 2011.
