BANYAN TREE HAS A NEW GDS CODE. JUST "BY".

Singapore | Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts is launching its independent Private Label GDS code ‘BY’ on 27 September 2007. A total of 10 resorts will be represented by ‘BY’, to be followed by another six in 2008.

Banyan Tree is entering a new stage of global expansion with over 40 hotels and resorts (owned or managed by Banyan Tree) opening over the next three years. The launch of the independent GDS code will streamline the booking process for agents enabling them to access all Banyan Tree hotels through one simple code. It will also facilitate Banyan Tree’s continued growth as a global hotel brand with increased market share.

Global Marketing

The new BY booking code is easily associated with Banyan Tree’s brand identity and the tagline ‘Just BY’ reflects the simplicity of the booking process. Special BY collectibles will be distributed to agents to help them remember the new code - including postcards, note pads, and signature Banyan Tree sand turtles.

All agents using a GDS terminal to book under the new code between 27 September 2007 – 31 March 2008 will be placed in a prize draw* for a chance to win a holiday to any Banyan Tree or Angsana hotel (that is under the ‘BY’ code as of 27 September 2007) of their choice.
