Darwin Escapes Chooses Acentic For Integrated Hospitality Technology Upgrade
Acentic, the global leader in hospitality technology, has been chosen by Darwin Escapes to work across its portfolio of luxury in the UK. This new technology partnership follows the successful installation of a managed HSIA network service for over 1,000 lodges, in three of the group's recently upgraded resorts, in the South West of the UK.
The assignment has successfully combined the network systems for each property by using Acentic's leading Radiant 4 HSIA platform, which is a game-changing product for the hospitality sector. Radiant 4 delivers an outstanding Wi-Fi user experience for guests and provides industry leading management and control functionality for Darwin Escapes and their individual properties.
This particular project has included everything from building management systems (fire alarms, heating, air con, locks, CCTV, EPOS) to sound systems and digital signage.
Guests visiting these resorts will now be able to use the Push and Play app via Panorama NG to securely stream music, photos and movies from their own device, in the comfort of their lodge. The TV's in each lodge are now an interactive media hub.
Richard Robinson, Acentic Chief Executive said: "After conducting a full site survey we decided to use our highly acclaimed Radiant 4 platform to create what is our largest managed network in the UK for Darwin Escapes. Radiant 4 enables conferencing, public area and in-room requirements to be managed by each property to optimise bandwidth per account and/or client and maximise revenue opportunities if required."
In addition to making everything work together for the first time, Acentic has equipped each property with a conferencing kit which comprises Enterprise grade BenQ projectors, motorised projector screens and Apple TVs. As an accredited Bose Pro partner, Acentic carried out a full survey of the acoustic requirements of Darwin leading to the installation of external sound systems into garden patios and outdoor areas as well as Bose speakers and Samsung TV's inside gyms.
