Phoenix, AZ | MSI (Multi-Systems, Inc.), a hospitality technology solutions provider has developed advanced mobile technology applications for the iPhone and iTouch.

The initial version allows hoteliers the ability to access real-time property data points including daily, weekly and monthly ADR, REVPAR and Occupancy stats. In addition, features that track guest room availability, guest status, and room status are also offered. Initially developed for both the iPhone and iTouch, the solution will be available for purchase starting next month.

“MSI continues to lead the industry in cutting-edge technology products and solutions by delivering vision through hospitality solutions, supported by an agile development paradigm” stated Tim Tiller, MSW, President MSI. “It is important for MSI to partner with our clients driving new opportunities, empowering hoteliers while increasing productivity.”

MSI realizes the need to support the movement from a tethered hotel environment to a nimble mobile environment. The next generation hotel expects to access information differently. Imagine being a General Manager walking through the lobby and having a guest approach you, knowing you have an iPhone and can retrieve their reservation, or check availability giving you the opportunity to provide immediate service to your guest. There is power in having the housekeeping staff carry iTouch devices receiving immediate information such as VIP check- ins and special requests, expediting waiting lists or room change information.

“MSI has dedicated research and development teams to pursue not only technology required today by our clients but to plan on technology that hasn’t become a requirement” Said Dave Kantrud, MSI’s Senior Vice President of Development. “Part of MSI’s development mission is around the next big thing, ensuring early availability. Watching the adoption of iPhone and iTouch technology it became clear that this will be part of the future. MSI is proud to release the next generation solutions to our prospects and clients” he further commented.

MSI will have the solution available for other mobile devices by the end of this year. Ongoing development activities and introduction of additional services further allowing hoteliers and guests the ability to interact seamlessly using next generation technology advances is a top priority for MSI.
