Lido House Hotel, Autograph Collection
New Lido House in Newport Beach set to open early 2018.
Scheduled for Early 2018130 RoomsHotel website
Lido House will be a four-story, 130-room boutique hotel spanning over 100,000 square feet. For decades, the site housed Newport Beach"s City Hall complex until new municipal offices opened near Fashion Island in 2013. With a sophisticated and relaxed coastal ambiance, the hotel will be situated on over four acres at the entrance to the Balboa Island Peninsula and steps away from Lido Marina Village, a pedestrian-friendly retail and dining complex including high-end boutiques, shops and restaurants such as Nobu, Alchemy Works, Clare V, Le Labo, Aesop and more.
A crisp Newport Beach nautical flair merges with classic Cape Cod-style architecture to capture the spirit of the surrounding coastal community and the adjacent harbor front Lido Village. With a timeless appeal, the hotel pays homage to the historic Balboa Pavilion, a 1906 landmark and one of the last remaining waterfront pavilions in California. Imbued with a beach house motif, the interior décor will celebrate the lifestyle, history, culture and seaside legacy of Newport Beach. Owned and developed by R.D. Olson Development and designed by EDG, Lido House will bring an elevated, coastal chic retreat to Newport Beach.
Lido House will feature 130 luxury guest rooms, five cottages, five king suites, two executive suites, and an expansive presidential suite. Each room will be beautifully appointed with recessed beds, luggage ottomans and comfy reading chairs paired with pops of yellow and shades of blue. The five residential-style, three-level cottages will span 1,300 square feet with a kitchen, two bedrooms and a living room – all showcasing masterfully designed interiors. Each cottage features a distinct and authentic design motif by different Newport Beach-based designers: Grace Blu, Brooke Wagner Design, Erica Bryen, Blackband Design and Jennifer Mehditash Design.
