The new westdrift Manhattan Beach will serve as a breezy modern clubhouse where East Coast classic and Southern California cool intersect. Located in the heart of this chic beach town, westdrift boasts 26 sprawling acres as the ideal backdrop for its more than 35,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor space, including 18 meeting rooms and a traditional ballroom and three large industrial-chic venues for weddings, parties, corporate retreats, board meetings and private dinners. Groups of any size can enjoy outdoor lawn games such as shuffleboard, play a quick 9-holes at the golf course or just enjoy a creative cocktail at the lobby bar and lounge, awash in an endless summer vibe.

DESIGN

westdrift will set the buzzworthy tone in LA"s coveted South Bay with an effervescent, bi-coastal chic retreat, courtesy of the innovative EDG Design. Brimming with a sun-washed palette and casual sophistication for which Manhattan Beach is known, the design fuses the two coastal aesthetics with driftwood, modern lines and sandy hues brightened by pops of navy blue. Mirroring the nostalgic Manhattan Beach pier, the hotel lobby will feature striking wooden columns with metal accents. The bold sense of arrival continues with a custom Argentine driftwood check-in desk and artwork by SoCal photorealist Eric Zener, celebrated for his underwater paintings.
