Olshan Properties, one of the country's leading private owners, developers and managers of commercial real estate today announced that the AAA Four Diamond Award winning, Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort & Spa will reopen its doors to guests in time for the Thanksgiving holiday following completion of an expansive $60 million interior and exterior transformation. The beloved 310-key resort enjoys an irreplaceable beach front location on Marco Island, which, with its unique blend of sugar white sand, crystal clear blue waters, award-winning dining and top rated resorts, is consistently voted among the country's top islands by TripAdvisor's coveted Traveler's Choice® awards.
Added Olshan Properties' Head of Hospitality, Ernie Catanzaro: "The entire team here at the Hilton Marco Island and myself are incredibly excited to unveil our newly reimagined resort to the local community, holiday makers and business groups alike. Throughout the renovation, even as the resort was closed to overnight guests, our team members – many of whom are the most talented managers in their fields in the country – have worked tirelessly above and beyond their professional responsibilities, taking on advanced training, and obtaining the highest level certifications in all their necessary fields to ensure the ultimate in service standards. It is therefore with immense pride that on behalf of the team here we today re- introduce the Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort & Spa as the leading resort on the West Coast of Florida and one of Hilton's preeminent American properties."
ISLAND STYLE, REDEFINED From their very first steps through the resort's gleaming, vaulted entryway, newcomers and returning guests alike will hail the Hilton Marco Island for its 'Island Style, Re-defined'. The 11- story resort welcomes a modern and fresh design aesthetic evocative of the world's leading boutique hotels. Color schemes marry the soft and calming tones of Marco Island's unparalleled beach with accents inspired by the limpid blues of the Gulf of Mexico. The smooth, cooling- effect marble lobby, updated with new reception, concierge, and bell desks, brings the outdoors inside with dramatic floor-to-ceiling picture windows overlooking the resort's expansive and renovated pool area, gently swaying palm trees and beyond, the unmistakable Gulf of Mexico shimmering beneath the warm Florida sun. Overhead is a striking crystalline lighting feature recalling the ocean spray from the nearby waters, and above the reception desk, a striking gold hued art installation reminiscent of the Gulf Coast's gold coin treasures of lore. Like many of the resort's finer design details both were hand selected by Andrea Olshan herself.
BOUTIQUE HOTEL-STYLE GUESTROOMS & AMENITIES, PREMIER PREFFERED COLLECTION SUITES Exploring beyond the refreshing new reception area, guests will discover an array of pleasing upgrades throughout the resort. In particular, the guestrooms, all of which feature balconies with breath-taking ocean views, enjoy brand new furnishings and enlarged bathrooms with his and hers vanities. Wi-Fi is ubiquitous throughout the resort and every room is equipped with smartphone charging stations. HiltonHonors® members will enjoy the use of Hilton's digital key app while all guests will find e-communications with the Concierge desk a breeze by logging into the Hilton Marco Island's newly installed Kipsu® text-based communication program.
BEACH-CHIC DINING WITH A FOCUS ON LOCALLY SOURCED INGREDIENTS With generous indoor and outdoor seating featuring those breathtaking ocean views and unforgettable watercolor sunsets, The Deck at 560 Bar & Restaurant focuses on local, sustainable seafood and produce, rotating with seasonal ingredients and herbs and vegetables sourced from an onsite, organic kitchen garden. At the newly installed Brazilian Walnut deck area, The Deck at 560 serves inventive, proprietary cocktails, many infused with fresh Florida citrus juices, and draft beer from local Florida breweries. For groups of up to 10 guests, private and semi-private dining options are also available in a secluded section with its own sensual, indoor fire pit.
A DEDICATION TO WELLNESS AND FITNESS At the redesigned outdoor pool, the focal point of the resort, guests can enjoy swimming, soaking in the warm sun and gathering with friends and family for an alfresco meal. In the evening, after strolling the lush landscaped grounds, they can take in the sunset seated around one of several luxurious fire pits.
