WorldMark Orlando Kingstown Reef will soon be ready to welcome more families to one of the top travel destinations in the U.S., with additional new vacation club resort suites scheduled to open in late 2020. The resort is part of Orlando-based Wyndham Destinations (NYSE: WYND), the world's largest vacation ownership exchange company, with more than 220 vacation club resorts around the world.

It is anticipated that a total of 87 new timeshare suites will be added to the Orlando resort for owners in both WorldMark® by Wyndham® and Club Wyndham® vacation clubs, more than doubling the size of the Florida Keys-themed property, which opened in 2000. In addition to the construction of two new buildings, the existing WorldMark suites will be renovated to include new furniture and appliances to reflect the modern comfort and convenience WorldMark owners enjoy.

The new suites will feature a modern and sleek design, with one-, two- and three-bedroom suites sleeping up to eight guests. Offering more space for family vacations to the theme park capital of the world, families will feel at home with living and dining room areas and fully equipped kitchens. The resort will also feature new Presidential suites, featuring larger two-, three-, and four-bedroom suites with enhanced amenities.

The Outside Lab will be developing the project with Ndeavor acting as the owner's representative. Upon completion of construction, Wyndham Destinations will purchase units at the resort and manage the sales and marketing of vacation ownership, resort operations, and timeshare homeowners' association management.

The WorldMark Orlando Kingstown Reef resort is a part of the WorldMark® by Wyndham® brand, a portfolio of properties with more than 90 resorts in a variety of destinations from sea to ski, coast to coast that focuses on giving families more time together to make memories.

After a full day of adventure enjoying all the attractions and experiences Orlando has to offer, guests will be welcomed by true Florida charm and a tropical relaxing environment, with amenities including two pools, fitness center and basketball, volleyball and tennis courts.

The company is also converting a portion of the existing check-in building to a new, modern sales center for visitors interested in learning about the benefits of vacation ownership. Wyndham Destinations employs approximately 3,500 employees in Central Florida and will hire additional people for new resort operations and sales positions when the new facilities are completed next year.
