McKibbon Hospitality, an award-----winning leader in hotel development, management and renovations, today announced that the Aloft Jacksonville Airport has completed a $2.75 million-dollar renovation that encompass the entire hotel. McKibbon Hospitality manages the hotel, and Frazee Construction handled the renovations, which BB+M Architecture designed. Renovations encompass the entire hotel including the W XYZ Bar, lobby and lounge area, pool deck, gym, meeting space, and all guest rooms and bathrooms. The new design incorporates locally-inspired elements throughout the property to showcase Jacksonville's culture, including new guestroom artwork and wallpaper. The hotel has also commissioned local artist Mobarick (Mo) Abdullah, II to paint a custom mural on the pool deck. Additionally, the hotel features artwork throughout its revamped public spaces by local artists Victor Marino, Julie Fetzer, and Viktor Lazarev.
The Aloft Jacksonville Airport includes 136 guestrooms, the Aloft brand's signature W XYZ® bar, an outdoor pool, 600 square feet of meeting space, and a 24-hour fitness center. Guests can enjoy weekly performances by local emerging musicians as part of the hotel's Live@Aloft series. In addition to its proximity to the Jacksonville International Airport, the hotel is located near River City Marketplace, a bustling shopping and entertainment complex.
