Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today announced the relaunch of Hilton Jiuzhaigou Resort, marking the flagship brand's long-anticipated return to Jiuzhaigou, Sichuan Province. Home to a UNESCO World Heritage national park famed for its natural beauty and biodiversity, Jiuzhaigou offers travelers a stunning getaway on the edge of the Tibetan Plateau. Featuring 421 rooms, suites and villas, the resort is nestled in the lush hills of the Min Mountains. Hilton Jiuzhaigou Resort is owned by Shandong Luneng Group Limited Company and managed by Hilton.
Hilton Jiuzhaigou Resort boasts a prime location at the entrance of Zhongcha Valley, just 12 kilometers from Jiuzhaigou National Park. Served by Jiuzhai Huanglong Airport, the resort is a convenient base for guests to explore famed scenic attractions including the emerald limestone ponds of Goddess Lake, tiered waterfalls of Jiuzhai Valley and the glaciers and snowcapped mountains of Huanglong.
The resort's four on-property dining outlets are designed with guests' preferences in mind. All-day dining restaurant open serves international classics and local specialties, with an emphasis on freshness and healthy eating. Guests can dine indoors or al fresco while enjoying spectacular views. SIMMER features Sichuan hot pot cuisine, serving the region's famed authentic flavors alongside a juice bar with a comfortable social setting. Named after an ancient Tibetan kingdom, XANG XUNG, showcases Tibetan specialties such as barbequed yak meat, buttered tea and highland barley wine, plated and served with extra sophistication. At JIU, the lobby lounge, guests can convene in a contemporary social hub that offers an a la carte menu of Western and Eastern favorites and sharing platters, as well as coffee, afternoon tea sets and a full-service bar with craft cocktails and imported wines and beers.
Hilton Jiuzhaigou Resort is inspired by a luxurious blend of nature, modern design and Tibetan architectural accents. Spacious guest rooms span at least 46 square meters, while the five villas range from 320 to 460 square meters. All rooms come well equipped with 49-inch LED televisions, high-speed Internet access, generous work spaces and deluxe rain showers.
