Marriott International announced that the SpringHill Suites by Marriott in the Sugar House area of Salt Lake City, Utah opened on October 24. The 125-suite hotel, located at 2206 South 1300 East, will operate as a Marriott franchise owned by Wilmington Hotel, LLC, whose managing partners are the principals of Woodbury Corporation, Colmena Group, and Dees, Inc. The hotel will be managed by Woodbury Corporation of Salt Lake City, Utah.

The SpringHill Suites Salt Lake City Sugar House is located in a vibrant, walkable neighborhood of Salt Lake City, surrounded by local restaurants, theaters, shops, and Sugar House Park, a 110-acre park which is considered a "crown jewel" among regional parks in the Salt Lake Valley. Near the I-15 interchange at 1300 East, the hotel is just seven miles from downtown and 15 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport. The hotel offers guests convenient access to Temple Square, the Utah State Capitol, Westminster College and University of Utah, multiple area hospitals, and Salt Lake City and Park City area ski resorts.

Ideal for business and leisure travelers, the new hotel offers suites larger than a typical hotel room. Each room has separate living, working and sleeping spaces, and features the SpringHill Suites' custom, three-in-one, West Elm sofa which converts from a sofa to a daybed to a trundle bed, along with a stylish West Elm Swivel Chair.

The daily complimentary breakfast menu offers items such as fresh strawberries, steel cut oatmeal, cold cuts, cheeses and more. The hotel also provides business services, complimentary Wi-Fi, same-day dry cleaning, 1,250 square feet of meeting space, an outdoor patio, a parking garage, guest laundry facilities, a 24/7 Market, an indoor swimming pool and a fitness center.

From the guest rooms to the lobby, every aspect of design, from furniture and lighting to colors and fabrics, has been carefully selected to offer calm and refreshing spaces for guests. Featuring a brand-new design that adds sophistication, the hotel's lobby was designed to not only accommodate check-in procedures, but also as a venue for conducting casual meetings or to socialize.
