The 301-room hotel is located in the vibrant city of St. Julian's, on the shores of the scenic Balluta Bay, near Valletta, the capital of Malta, known for its history and culture, and is an ideal starting point for exploring the island.

The inspirational design characteristic of Marriott Hotels was developed by RPW Design and combines the laconic style and elements borrowed from the traditional crafts of Balluta Bay. In the rooms, colored blown glass fixtures stand out against the background of a restrained interior made in neutral shades, emphasizing the peculiar modern aesthetics of the hotel. The 150-square-meter presidential suite, located on the top floor of the hotel, boasts stunning views of Balluta Bay.

Guests staying in the hotel's suites and club rooms have access to the M Club Lounge, a signature executive lounge located on the top floor of the hotel and offering guests enjoy outdoor terraces overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The M Club Lounge serves hot breakfast, premium drinks and gourmet snacks throughout the day, plus free Wi-Fi and a printer for guests traveling to work.

The hotel offers guests a wide selection of five restaurants and three bars. Taro at the Villa serves Mediterranean cuisine made with fresh, local produce grown in the 19th century palazzo, while Nori at The Villa offers Asian street food and modern cocktails. Each day, a titled chef team serves a buffet breakfast at The Marketplace. Atrio Bar and Restaurant invites guests to relax on the outdoor terrace and sample local and Mediterranean dishes, as well as the seasonal Sundeck Bar and Restaurant, where you can grab a bite to eat by the pool.
