Known as the Red Lion Lewiston, Gateway to Hells Canyon for the last 21 years, this renowned hotel in the Lewis-Clark valley is undergoing both a name and brand change on January 1, 2021.

Leaving the Red Lion brand name, the hotel will change to Hells Canyon Grand Hotel and become a part of the Ascend Hotel Collection, by Choice Hotels.Ascend® hotels are woven into the culture and fabric of their communities, featuring art and amenities that put local flavor first. The brand allows for a focus on local vendors and partnerships, as well independent branding reflecting the Hells Canyon area and rich historic culture.

Located in Lewiston, ID, the (soon to be) Hells Canyon Grand Hotel is in the city center and near the airport. Having two onsite restaurants and bars, an outdoor patio, game room, a pool, gym and over 24,000 square feet of event space gives guests a full service hospitality experience. All 143 guest rooms and suites feature complimentary Wi-Fi, comfortable work desks, plush pillow-top beds, oversized bathrooms refrigerators, microwaves, coffeemakers, and TVs. All guests receive a hot cooked-to order breakfast.
