Hilton Tirana - the brand's first property in Albania - is set to open towards the end of 2023.
Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today announced the signing of a management agreement to open Hilton Tirana - a brand-new 174 room property in the heart of the Albanian capital. The hotel, owned by Kastrati Residences Ltd, a subsidiary of Kastrati Group, is set to open towards the end of 2023 and will be Albania's first Hilton Hotels & Resorts property.
Influenced by a Mediterranean seasonal climate, Tirana is said to be one of the sunniest cities in Europe. Boasting an abundance of entertainment, arts, music and food, its proud historic monuments are contrasted with modern buildings and stunning mountain scenery. Tirana's central location and modern transportation links also make it the most important economic and political hub in Albania.
The hotel will be situated a short walk from Tirana's top tourist attractions, including the Et'hem Bey Mosque and Skanderbeg Monument. Business travellers will enjoy convenient access to the nearby government buildings and financial centre, as well as excellent transport links to Tirana train station and Tirana International Airport - both within a 30 minute drive.
The hotel will have 174 guestrooms, including 18 suites, as well as an executive lounge and extensive meetings and events space. In addition to a spacious spa, indoor pool and fitness centre, its rooftop, designed to blend closely with the surroundings, will boast a stunning pool and lounge with breath-taking views of the Skanderberg Mountains and parkland.
