Wellengood Partners, the premier collaborator and ally for developing, operating, and marketing hospitality venues across the country, is proud to announce the completion of a $5 million design refresh at The Westin Memphis Beale Street. From arrival through checkout, guests can experience a space reimagine with contemporary elegance and subtle hints of Memphis style in both private and shared spaces.

Wellengood Partners developed the plan to refresh the design and functionality of the hotel after Marriott's acquisition of Starwood Hotels in September 2016. All 203 guest rooms are fitted with new furniture, carpeting and drapes. New mobile check-in and card touch technology offers convenient check-in, and for musically inclined guests, The Westin now offers a unique form of room service that allows our guests an electric Gibson guitar, amp and headphones to "rock out" in the privacy of their room - a quintessential Memphis experience.

Updates in The Westin's shared spaces include a fresh look and feel to the lobby and bar, now boasting a more open floor plan with elevated furniture, art, drumstick chandeliers and a co-working space in the lobby, complete with WiFi, desktop computers, charging stations and additional wall outlets. The workout room touts updated wallpaper, more free weights and new, state-of-the-art equipment. New wallpaper, carpeting and furniture can be found in the ballrooms, which accommodate up to 300 people, as well as the meeting rooms overlooking Downtown Memphis.
