Set to open this summer in Atlanta's Midtown neighborhood, Kimpton's much-anticipated hotel announces its name, Kimpton Wade Hotel, and the appointment of its leader, General Manager Alan Rae. The Wade will be part of MetLife Investment Management's Midtown Union development, a mixed-use community located in the city's "Heart of the Arts" and new epicenter for business. The Wade will reflect this unique intersection of culture and connection with a spirit and style that is equal parts creatively inspired and modernly sophisticated.

Located at 17th Street and West Peachtree Street, The Wade will offer instant connection to the complex's green office space - anchored by global asset management firm Invesco, dining and retail outlets and luxury high-rise apartment homes, quickly becoming a sought-after destination for locals and out-of-towners alike. Easy accessibility to public transportation and a network of interwoven pedestrian-friendly walkways will connect the new boutique hotel to the main thoroughfare of Arts Center Way.

As a sparkling 12-story new-build boutique hotel, The Wade will feature 230 sophisticated guest rooms, including six suites and one Presidential Suite. With interiors by Studio 11 Design, The Wade's guest rooms will boast a cool, calming color palette of natural tones and deep blues with floor-to-ceiling windows looking out over Midtown's bustling scene. Outfitted with Kimpton's signature Atelier Bloem bath products and Frette linens, The Wade will offer all of the comforts a Kimpton is known for. Along with its popular "Forgot It? We've Got It!" amenity program, guests will also enjoy the beloved evening social hour, morning coffee and tea service, pet-friendly policies, in-room yoga mats, well-equipped fitness center and complimentary bike rentals. And, as a brand known for its inspired restaurants and bars, The Wade will introduce two new culinary and cocktail concepts to the city. The first will be a ground-level Modern American restaurant serving up regionally inspired cuisine in a casually polished space accompanied by a mezzanine-level cocktail lounge and bar shaking up botanical beverages and dishing out small plate noshes with a focus on aquatic delights. Those seeking new venues for board meetings and special celebrations will find ample inspiration with The Wade's over 6,600 square feet of flexible meetings and events space on the hotel's second floor.
