Hôtel Crillon le Brave - Provence
Maisons Pariente's Hotel Crillon le Brave Reopening this April
Scheduled for April 202234 RoomsHotel website
Leaning against Mont Ventoux, facing the Dentelles de Montmirail and just a few kilometres from the Luberon, the village of Crillon-Le-Brave seems to be straight out of a fairytale. It is in this preserved setting that the romantic hotel of the same name was born, in the heart of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. Indeed, the Crillon le Brave spa hotel is unique in that it is integrated into the medieval village, as the various buildings that complete the hotel were once private houses, which have been acquired over the years. In a natural setting of striking beauty, you can stroll through the labyrinth of pedestrian streets lined with low walls of Crillon stone and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Provencal countryside. A true refuge where you can enjoy the beauty of the location, all whilst experiencing unparalleled service.
Rooms and suites with refined decor
This luxurious Provencal hotel has 34 rooms and suites that unearth the poetry of the place. The softness of the plaids, the opulence of the materials and the clarity of the shades and colours used in the rooms, have been designed to blend with the surrounding nature, as seen throughout the entire hotel. Each room invites you to dream, thanks to the unique decor, comprised of carefully selected furniture and delicate antiques. Depending on the room, the gaze is either drawn to Mont Ventoux, the olive groves or the vineyards, with rows stretching as far as the eye can see.
A gastronomic table in a romantic hotel in Provence
At Crillon le Brave, epicureans should find their happiness. The charming Provencal hotel offers two culinary worlds and pays tribute to the local region thanks to the talented Chef Adrien Brunet. The Chef at La Table du Ventoux capitalises on the exceptional products of local artisans to serve you Provence on a plate! Melons from Cavaillon, green asparagus from Mazan and Provence almonds which have been reworked to fully reveal their exceptional flavours and textures. In the summer, the Chef's selection of local meats is grilled on the barbecue or on the plancha and served on the panoramic terrace with a view of the Mont Ventoux. When temperatures cool down, you can take refuge in the lovely dining room, which has been designed as an indoor winter garden.
For a more intimate setting, visit the gastronomic restaurant La Madeleine, named after the famous mountain pass nearby. There, Adrien Brunet pushes flavour associations even further, always emphasising local delicacies. Pigeon from Sarrians mixed with lavender and cherries from the Ventoux, while oysters from the Etang de Thau are served hot and cold, with an aniseed-flavoured crispy potato. The menu is divided into 4 or 6 courses and is peppered with nods to the famous madeleine, such as dark chocolate madeleines moulded-in period moulds, salted madeleines in appetizer bites. You can enjoy these delights accompanied by the best wines of the region and rare bottles, hand-picked by the sommelier Faustine Bernard.
Crillon le Brave has a secret hideaway for complete relaxation: a superb spa, installed in the former stables of the 17th century. Three cabins await you in a calming atmosphere, to experience the holistic treatments of the English brand Bamford. This brand offers personalised treatments based on the active principles of organic plant extracts designed to repair overworked skin. Sports preparation and recovery, yoga, meditation, slimming and detox, anti-stress treatment, Mother-to-be care... whatever your needs, the spa therapists will be able to offer you a program adapted to your desires. The hotel has also designed a duo cabin for couples so that you can enjoy these moments of relaxation together.
