Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today announced the signing of DoubleTree by Hilton Ben Guerir, Morocco. Scheduled to open in 2023, the signing signals the debut of DoubleTree by Hiltonand the entry of global hospitality brands into the city of Ben Guerir.
DoubleTree by Hilton Ben Guerir is owned by Sociéte Hôtelière de Ben Guerir, an affiliate of Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P). It will feature 213 guest rooms including studios and one-bedroom apartments. In addition, the property will provide guests with unique food and beverage offerings including a lobby and pool bar. Guests looking to unwind and relax will be able to take a dip in the hotel's outdoor pool or make use of its state-of-the-art gym and recreational facilities. For meetings and events, the hotel will offer six meeting rooms and a board room.
Ben Guerir is situated in the Rhamna Province in central Morocco, in the Marrakesh-Safi region. The town has emerged in recent years as an innovation and technology excellence centre. DoubleTree by Hilton Ben Guerir is located in Mohammed VI Green City, which has been designed as an intellectual research hub, with a focus on sustainability and renewable energy. The hotel is surrounded by lush greenery, the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, retail, and office spaces, which makes it a hotspot for business and leisure travellers.
