  • The Elser Hotel & Residences, a new luxury property in the heart of Downtown Miami, is set to open this fall. The 49-story tower has 646 rooms, ranging from studios to 3-Bedroom suites, offering sweeping views. Serving as an immersive guide to the Magic City, the hotel will introduce visitors to the area's cultural offerings, including art, wellness, music, fashion and dining — everything that makes Miami a world-class destination.

"We are thrilled to announce the addition of The Elser Hotel to Downtown Miami," said Yaniv Packin, Vice President of Operations of The Elser Hotel. "This exciting opening will add a new level of vibrancy and glamour to the destination, offering a luxurious and curated experience for leisure and business travelers visiting South Florida."

Located at 398 NE Fifth Street, the sky-high luxury tower designed by Sieger Suarez Architects reflects the aquamarine shades of the Atlantic Ocean, which is mirrored by the building's floor-to-ceiling windows. From the hotel exterior, guests will be able to access Café Domino, an open-concept coffee bar serving made-to-order coffee drinks, pastries and breakfast bites in a communal setting adorned with creative neon lighting and exposed brick. Coming soon, the coffee bar's focal point will be a marble island in the center of the space with a display of greenery and tropical ferns floating overhead.

As guests enter the lobby, they will see the personification of Miami's lush landscape in the same greenery, which cascades the perimeter of the ground floor, bringing the energy of the outside world indoors. Plush seating is strategically placed throughout the area alongside a library of books and walls lined with alluring contemporary works by Venezuelan artist Paul Amundarain. The expansive space is adorned with hues of terracotta and gray among the abstract lighting and fixtures leading to the check-in desk. The interiors were imagined by Cotofana Designs, which took inspiration from the bustling city and South Florida's natural landscape to curate the hotel's design. A favorite of the Miami art scene, Andrew Antonaccio, provided the incredible urban art pieces that adorn the elevator cab interiors.

Just off the lobby will be a new restaurant concept by the celebrated culinary team at Jaguar Sun, a downtown bar named Bar of the Year by Eater Miami in 2018. Owners Will Thompson and Carey Hynes are known for creating the 36-seat watering hole and pasta restaurant, which has been praised by The Wall Street Journal and Garden & Gun magazine. The team is also known for Sunny's Steakhouse, which was listed as one of the Best Restaurants in America by Bon Appétit in summer 2022. The new dining concept will feature 55 seats and a full-service bar program.

Wellness is at the forefront of The Elser's identity, offering guests a two-story 10,20-sq ft. fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment and panoramic views of Biscayne Bay. The expansive gym offers a cardio wall with an assortment of stationary bikes, rowing machines, treadmills and ellipticals. The modern space also has a free-weight area with a variety of dumbbells and weighted circuit machines. Meditation and yoga classes will be available on the open-air fitness deck, offering city views complemented by mosaic artwork on the hotel's exterior. For those looking to relax and recharge, the hotel has a sauna as well as a hot tub positioned in front of a mural by Paul Amundarain and offering views of the Skyviews Miami Wheel and Biscayne Park.

Travelers can seek refuge on the hotel's 19,000-square-foot sun deck, offering pristine views of FTX Arena, MacArthur Causeway and iconic South Beach. The space features a 132-foot-long pool with a large area for sunbathing on relaxing daybeds and chaise lounges. Overhead, there's a showstopping 16-foot LED screen, which will showcase music videos, movies and sporting events, bringing the area to life. The sun deck also includes eight electric grills, an outdoor bar and an expansive event lawn, serving as the ultimate destination for outdoor celebrations with unparalleled waterfront views. At the corner of the lawn space, the mesmerizing mural by Jeffrey Noble radiates feel-good vibes with the inclusion of the palm trees and poolsides that have made Miami a coveted destination for generations.

The Elser offers rooms ranging from studios to 3-Bedroom suites, all featuring floor-to-ceiling windows with unobstructed city and bay views. Select guest rooms have balconies, allowing visitors to bask in the Miami sunshine and warm breeze. The sophisticated living spaces include comfortable seating areas for in-room dining and entertainment, along with plush bedding and wood-grain tile flooring throughout. Each room features a full kitchen with quartz countertops, a free-standing range and slate appliances. The bathrooms include custom Italian vanities by Italkraft and glass-enclosed showers.

The hotel is ideally located within close distance to some of the best area's cultural attractions, including Wynwood, the Design District, Miami Beach, South Beach's historic Art Deco District, PortMiami, LoanDepot Park (home of the Miami Marlins) and countless dining options. It is also within walking distance of cultural attractions, including the Adrienne Arsht Center, Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science and Pérez Art Museum Miami. Plus, its convenient location next to the Brightline train station allows visitors to easily extend their adventures to Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach (and Orlando, starting in 2023).

A modern reflection of Miami's transformative legacy, the property shares the same bustling locale and glimmering views previously enjoyed in the early 1900s at the historic Elser Pier. This idyllic location positioned the pier as the city's premier venue for entertainment and conventions, ultimately reshaping the vision for the downtown corridor and setting the stage for the thriving bayfront metropolis we know today.

The property is developed by national investment and development firm PMG and Canadian real estate private equity firm Greybrook and is part of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, the world's largest independent hotel brand that represents more than 650 distinctive hotels, resorts, residences, and unique hotel groups across 80 countries. Every property within the portfolio is required to maintain the high-quality standards and unparalleled service levels required by the Preferred Hotels & Resorts Integrated Quality Assurance Program.

The Elser Hotel & Residences is accepting reservations starting November 30th.
