Noelle, an experiential hotel operated by Dallas-based Makeready and owned by Ohio-based Rockbridge, has announced its transition to independence after operating under Marriott's Tribute Portfolio since its opening in December 2017. The immersive property, located in the heart of downtown with its back to Printer's Alley, will offer a fresh lineup of specialty curated activations, amenities and partnerships to further establish its mark as a creative gathering place with deep connections to artists and makers.
Noelle is a destination to experience the vibrant city of Nashville, accentuated by its five food and beverage concepts, locally-sourced luxury retail experience, commissioned artworks, and art deco architecture echoing the glamour and heritage of America's music capitol. The original Noel Hotel opened in 1930 as the tallest building in Nashville during a time when Nashville was experiencing an economic boom. Today's Noelle, in its second act within a burgeoning city, continues to honor its almost century-old legacy built in collaboration with Nashville's finest artisans.
A Series of Nashville Encounters
Harnessing its independent spirit to enhance creativity in brand ownership and marketing, Noelle is forging relationships with like-minded partners to create cultural experiences around almost every corner.
Launching in February 2023 at signature restaurant Makeready L&L, Noelle's Nashvillians of Note ticketed dinner series will seat community innovators and changemakers at the head of the table to spark engaging conversations on a chosen topic. Intended to educate and raise awareness for the topic at hand over dialogue paired with dinner, Nashvillians of Note will bring together a curious group of 50 individuals for an unforgettable evening. Launching in February with featured hosts, Todd Lawrence, Urban Green Lab, and Chef Bianca Morton, Nashville Food Project Environmental Law Institute, the initial dinner party theme will be centered on "The Nashville Food Waste Initiative & How You Be a Sustainable Food Champion." Additional speakers include Singer/Songwriter, Jamie Kent, and Nick Dryden, Principal Architect, among others throughout the year.
Noelle will expand upon its rotating roster of special events, and now feature a quarterly makers market comprised of local artists and small businesses, live music in Trade Room Bar, and a monthly self-guided First Saturday Art Crawl through the Nashvillians of Note collection, a hotel-wide exhibition of portraits depicting over 100 lesser-known Nashville notables who impacted the community. The hotel will also introduce additional community partnerships throughout 2023, including a special collaboration with the National Museum of African American Music.
With the ability to be more personalized and intentional, Noelle is refreshing guest rooms, inclusive of 75 spacious studios and 12 luxury suites. The hotel will also offer new services rooted in comfort and Nashville experiences, such as access to local gyms via a wellness pass, entry to a swanky rooftop hospitality deck with a refreshment station, evening turndown service, record players and vinyl on lend, 20% off local gift items at Keep Shop, and special access and discounts amongst a curated roster of Nashville partners. Also featured in guest rooms will be The Line, an in-room periodical by Noelle covering the hotel's origin story and nostalgic nods to 1930s Nashville.
