The luxury UK hotel remains committed to enhancement,
ensuring a better-than-ever experience for guests.

Rockliffe Hall, the epitome of traditional British luxury in County Durham, is proud to announce the launch of its refreshed New Hall rooms, setting a new standard for indulgence and relaxation.

The sleek interiors have been rethought and refurbished by the celebrated local interior designers, Cocoon & Bauer, adding new layers of comfort and grandeur to the five-star resort. The leading North-East studio is best known for its high-end design work in the hospitality, residential and commercial sectors. Leading the New Hall refurbishment, Cocoon & Bauer has fashioned a classic and timeless aesthetic with a neutral palette popping with accents of orange and aqua, to create playful spaces that still reflect the estate's history which dates back to 1774.

The rooms' restful, contemporary decor includes sumptuous king-sized beds dotted with piles of soft cushions; plush velvet sofas, designed by British fabric company Warwick, in an extensive lounge space; a dedicated dressing area; artwork sourced from North-East-based Surfacephilia, who created large abstract prints from their Saltburn-by-the-Sea showroom; and mood lighting throughout.

Meanwhile, the marble-clad en suite bathrooms boast walk-in monsoon showers and deep-set bathtubs, complete with built-in tile TVs, offering understated opulence that is sure to appeal to the most discerning travellers.

Each New Hall room is south-facing, ensuring magnificent views over the Rockliffe Hall's landscaped gardens and golf course. Guests seeking extra indulgence can choose to reside in one of the New Hall Superior rooms which feature a private juliet balcony or ground-floor patios, making an ideal spot to enjoy a sunrise coffee or sunset champagne. Spanning an impressive 49 square metres, each room offers generous space for stylish relaxation.

Connected to the Old Hall by a sparkling glass corridor, guests are mere steps away from the hotel's inspired amenities, including its flagship fine dining restaurant, The Orangery, which serves delicate dishes inspired by the Michelin-starred Head Chef Paul Nicholson's garden-to-plate ethos. Rockliffe Hall is also home to a serene spa that spans 5o,000 square feet and boasts a unique spa garden featuring heated tepidarium beds and an infinity edge hydrotherapy pool overlooking the estate's 375 acres of grounds, as well as one of Europe's longest and most challenging 18 hole championship golf courses.
