Fidelity Hotel to open in historic downtown Cleveland, Ohio space in late 2024.

New Waterloo, a dynamic, community-centric independent hotel management company, is further expanding into new markets with the announcement of Fidelity Hotel, an adaptive reuse project located at 1940 E. 6th Street in the historic 103-year-old Baker Building. The project is in collaboration with NuovoRE, a socially and environmentally conscious real estate firm based in Denver. Fidelity Hotel will have 97 guest rooms & suites, each with tailored amenities and custom-designed furniture. The property will feature a full-service restaurant, bar, event & meeting spaces, and a private dining room.

Located in the most visited neighborhood in Downtown Cleveland, the new Fidelity Hotel will put guests in the center of the historic district, walking distance to shopping, dining, concerts, sporting events and more. The ground floor of the hotel will be a gathering space for meetings, socializing, dining, and activities. The lobby, bar, and restaurant will feature a full bar, classic dishes, regional ingredients, and fresh takes on Cleveland essentials. Event and meeting spaces will make it ideal for intimate downtown groups, corporate programs, breakaways, and social events. The hotel will offer amenities such as 24-hour concierge & guest services, a fitness center, complimentary newspapers & coffee, in-room dining, locally sourced mini-bars, custom bathrobes, and more.

The 56,770-square-foot historic Cleveland landmark, designed by Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture (HPA) and built by Whiting-Turner, will feature locally sourced materials, custom-designed furniture and thoughtfully curated art that reflects both the city's roots and its future. The historic building integrates locally sourced materials and art to delicately balance the old and new. The juxtaposition of the city itself is fully celebrated in the design, which is intended to create an atmosphere that feels uniquely of Cleveland.
