Cheval Collection has reopened Cheval Phoenix House in London after 15 months of extensive renovation.
The group focused on using ethically sourced and sustainable materials during the refurbishment, which will form the basis of the new aesthetic and vision for Cheval Collection.
The property features 34 one and two-bedroom apartments in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea with a 24-hour reception and onsite gym.
Cheval Phoenix House includes a number of features designed to reduce energy usage and carbon footprint, in line with Cheval Collection's sustainable targets. Contributing to the property's day-to-day operations are; energy efficient heat pumps for hot water, low-energy lighting and sensors, a heating and cooling energy efficient air conditioning system and water-efficient showers and tap fittings.
During the renovation itself 99.76% of construction waste was recycled and the interior designers were committed to using sustainably-sourced FF&E and finishes, including fabrics from recycled materials, as well as favouring the use of natural materials such as stone and timber.
The group has seen a strong first half of the year, with a 14% increase in bookings for all markets by volume, with revenues up by 23.7% over the same period in 2023.
Cheval Collection is continuing to pursue a strategy of growth and is in discussions with a number of investors and developers in European and the UK. Next year the group is planning to launch Cheval Maison - West Regent, located in Glasgow, which will be the fourth property in Scotland.
The company currently operates nine locations in London, three in Edinburgh and one in Dubai, with a second Dubai site; Cheval Maison - Expo City Dubai, due to open in Q1 2025 and the group's first property in Saudi Arabia, the Cheval Ladun Living, located in Riyadh, due to be completed in 2027.
