A new flagship for the group in Germany, setting new standards for design.

On July 15th 2024, the long-awaited Adagio Original Heidelberg has opened its doors. It is the eleventh property in Germany for Adagio, the European leader of aparthotels. Benefiting from demanding standards in terms of design, architecture, and hotel services, and located near the old town and connected to major transport links, this new flagship offers 162 studios and apartments spread over eight floors.

Located in the city center, close to the main train station, the university, and a business area with a large convention center, the Adagio Original Heidelberg brings a unique offering to the economically vibrant Rhine-Neckar region, in a brand-new building with refined design.

Adagio Original Heidelberg has 120 studios and 42 one-bedroom apartments, with well-thought-out, comfortable, and welcoming layouts, as well as a fully equipped kitchen; it fulfills Adagio's promise of "a home away from home." Like all Adagio aparthotels, these accommodations come with an extended range of hotel services available 24/7. This offering, which combines great flexibility and high-level services, is unparalleled in Heidelberg today.

This combination between the flexibility of apartments and hotel services offers the best value-for-money for leisure or business travelers, or for "bleisure" guests that like to combine both. For families or stays with friends or colleagues, 20 apartments feature connecting doors and can be expanded as needed without compromising anyone's privacy. There are 16 apartments which are fully accessible to people with reduced mobility.

The Adagio Original Heidelberg welcomes its guests in a reception and public areas that are bright and spacious, with a design inspired by local culture. A notable feature of this arrangement is the artwork by Julia Benz, a native of Heidelberg.

As in all Adagio aparthotels, the communal space known as "The Circle" plays a pivotal role. This hybrid area spans the entire ground floor, featuring semi-private spaces, lounges, and workstations. A shared kitchen is available for communal cooking and social gatherings. The Adagio Shop offers selected items for everyday needs. A 'Library of Things' also allows guests to personalise their apartments.

The attentive members of our on-site team are well-versed in this highly touristic region and are eager to share their insider tips to help all guests experience the city like a local. This focus on welcoming and assisting guests throughout their stay, to provide the finest experience, is a tangible expression of Adagio's motto: "Here for you."
