IHG Hotels & Resorts is preparing to launch the Hotel Indigo Cabal Akhdar Resort & Spa on Jebel Akhdar in Oman, marking its debut resort in the region. Situated at an altitude of 2,000 meters, the resort offers breathtaking views of the valleys cascading down from the Green Mountain, also known as Jebel Akhdar.

The resort comprises 173 rooms, suites, and chalets, all designed to showcase the stunning mountain landscape. It is set to open its doors to guests starting September 1.

The hotel's architecture and interior design are deeply influenced by the surrounding natural beauty and the rich cultural heritage of Oman. Guests can indulge in the spa, dine at the hotel's restaurants, or explore the rugged slopes of Jebel Akhdar, where they can visit ancient villages and walk through terraced fields of pomegranates, peaches, and roses.

Dining at the resort is a highlight, with The Vue Rooftop & Lounge standing out as the highest rooftop bar in the Middle East. Wadi Habib offers traditional Omani dishes, while Zaatar provides a range of Middle Eastern and international cuisine, available throughout the day. The culinary offerings draw heavily on the region's history, including influences from the Zanzibari spice trade and locally sourced ingredients.

As part of IHG's Luxury and Lifestyle portfolio, Hotel Indigo properties are known for being inspired by their surroundings. Currently, there are 158 Hotel Indigo locations worldwide, with another 133 properties in development.
