Scandic Go, Sankt Eriksgatan 20

Scandic has now launched its second Scandic Go hotel in Stockholm with 234 rooms. Together with property owner Pandox, the company has opened a new hotel at Fridhemsplan on the island of Kungsholmen in Stockholm. The parties have completed a comprehensive renovation of the hotel, which is now ready to welcome guests who want to explore the wide range of entertainment and experiences Stockholm offers.

Fridhemsplan is a major gateway to central Stockholm. The residential buildings, restaurants, bars, stores and vast green spaces in the area create a vibrant and lively environment that attracts leisure and business travelers alike.

A good price, inviting design, smooth self-service and breakfast and hot food around the clock are key elements of the new Scandic Go brand. The hotel rooms at Scandic Go have a youthful design that features smart solutions and clever storage facilities - features that are attractive to a new target group of leisure travelers who want to take advantage of a city's leisure and event offerings rather than focusing on the hotel stay itself.

The new hotel is certified by the Nordic Swan Ecolabel. By testing new materials, investing in sustainable finishes and interior design with as low CO₂ emissions as possible, the aim is to offer an environmentally friendly hotel experience. In the hotel decor, recycled materials have been prioritized, including chairs made from coffee grounds and tabletops made from recycled textiles. In as far as possible, items used in the hotel can also be taken apart for reuse or recycling.

Following the opening, Scandic will operate two hotels with a total of 358 rooms under the Scandic Go brand.
