Rene Zimmer has been appointed General Manager at Finca Cortesin Hotel in Casares (Andalucia)
Rene Zimmer’s 20 years of luxury hotel management experience has brought him to Finca Cortesin Hotel, Golf, and Spa. From November 2006 until March 2009, Rene was the Executive Assistant Manager at the 301-room Grand Hotel Europe in St. Petersburg, Russia. Prior to this, Rene was Director of Food and Beverage at Hotel La Residencia in Mallorca, Spain. He received his Hospitality Degree while being an apprentice for a prominent Relais & Chateaux property in Bavaria, Germany; he later achieved a Short MBA from Marcus Evans, Cheney Court, England. Born in Bautzen, Germany, Rene is fluent in his native tongue, English, and Spanish, with a good knowledge of French and Italian.Opened in October 2008, Finca Cortesin Hotel, Golf & Spa is a luxury resort located in southern Spain near the village of Casares, one of the most picturesque villages of Andalucia, and situated between Marbella and Sotogrande.
