Shaun D'Cruz has been appointed General Manager at InterContinental Perth Burswood
His most recent position was Rooms Division Manager where he played an integral role in the opening of Australia's largest hotel, Crown Metropol. Shaun spent 12 years living in Melbourne and prior to that resided in the United Arab Emirates, where he embarked on his hotel career commencing a degree in Hospitality Management followed by a Management Traineeship at The Princeton, Dubai. The luxury and elegance of hotels lured Shaun to the industry, paired with a passion to learn superior customer service that exceeds guest expectations on every visit. Shaun is eager to sustain a strong team, and through extensive knowledge and global exposure, Shaun hopes an open communication policy will create collaboration across all departments. He believes that mentoring and coaching is the key to building a high performing team.
