Kieran QuinnKieran began his career with Starwood Hotels & Resorts as a graduate management trainee at the iconic Turnberry Resort in Ayrshire, Scotland. This programme gave him opportunity to experience every department in the hotel at operational and managerial levels. In 2002, Kieran joined The Westin Dublin as Assistant Banqueting Manager, progressing over the next six years through a number of Food & Beverage managerial roles at the hotel. Throughout his tenure in Dublin, Kieran was an active member at committee level in professional organisations including the Restaurant Association of Ireland and the Irish Hospitality Institute. In 2008, Kieran was appointed Director of Food & Beverage at the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa in Edinburgh where he was in charge of the multi-million pound food and beverage operation. In 2011 he was promoted to Executive Assistant Manager, responsible for the hotel’s operation, as well as the planning and execution of the hotel’s multi-million pound public area refurbishment which was completed in April 2012. Before joining Starwood, Kieran studied at the Shannon College of Hotel Management and began his career in his native Ireland with roles at Fitzpatrick’s Hotel Group and the Sand House Hotel. He has also spent time working in hospitality in Switzerland.
