Julian Miller“After serving as Eventi’s Hotel Manager since March 2012, I’m excited to embrace my new role and continue working with my New York Kimpton family,” said Julian Miller. “Coming off the heels of a lobby refresh and expanded dining options within the hotel and adjacent to the property, it’s an exciting time to be at Eventi and I am thrilled to see the property grow.” As General Manager, Miller will be responsible for overseeing all departments, from financial to operational. Miller will work closely with the General Manager’s at Kimpton’s sister properties in NYC including Ink48, 70 Park Avenue and The Muse. Previously, Miller oversaw daily operations of the front office, facilities, banquets, security and housekeeping departments. Miller was nominated for the Mass Lodging Association's Stephan Porter Emerging Hospitality Leader of the Year Award and continues to enrich the hotel’s reputation for excellent service. Before Eventi, Miller served as hotel manager and eco champion of Kimpton’s Hotel Marlowe and Nine Zero in Boston, where managed the implementation of eco-friendly initiatives at both hotels. A true Kimptonite, Miller established his hospitality career with Kimpton in 2004, serving in a range of roles including director of housekeeping, guest service supervisor, housekeeping manager, front office supervisor and guest service agent. Miller holds a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the University of Massachusetts.
