Helene Fong has been appointed Director of Sales & Marketing at JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok
Mr. Peter Caprez, Cluster General Manager of JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok, Courtyard Bangkok and Renaissance Koh Samui Resort & Spa is excited to appoint JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok’s newest Director of Sales & Marketing, Ms. Helene Fong effective as of Monday, October 5, 2015. The Hotel extends a warm welcome to Helene on her return to the Land of Smiles once again from the JW Marriott Hong Kong as Director of Marketing since September 2012. She brings with her a vast knowledge and wealth of experience and is well associated with “Driving for Results” and “Talent Management”. Prior to her last position at the JW Marriott Hong Kong, she also held the same position at the Shangri-La Hotel Bangkok & Shangri-La Hotel Chiang Mai from May 2011 to May 2012 and hence is familiar with the market. Helene also held the position of Director of Sales & Marketing at the China World Summit Wing, Beijing (a Shangri-La Hotel) from November 2009 to May 2011, the Futian Shangri-La, Shenzhen, the Crown Plaza, Shenzhen, the Traders Hotel, Beijing as well as the Director of Sales at the Pudong Shangri-La, Shanghai. In her new capacity, Helene looks forward to work closely with her new team to uplift the hotel’s performance in this dynamic city. She also intends to take this opportunity to explore Thailand. Helene is from Malaysia, values and cares deeply for her family and siblings back home in Kuala Lumpur.
