Sandy ZinckMainsail Lodging & Development announced today the appointment of Sandra Zinck as general manager for two of their Anna Maria Island properties – the 37 two-bedroom suite boutique hotel, Waterline Marina Resort & Beach Club scheduled to open Fall 2016, and Mainsail Beach Inn, an award-winning 12-unit luxury beachfront property. Zinck will oversee the day-to-day operations of the properties while also hiring support staff, and pre-opening and opening responsibilities for Waterline, which is currently being constructed on the eastern shore of Anna Maria Island. With nearly 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Zinck comes to Mainsail Lodging from D.P. Murphy Hotels & Resorts in Moncton, New Brunswick, where she worked for eight years. Most recently, she was general manager at Four Points by Sheraton Moncton, where she also acted as the project manager prior to its opening in June 2015. During her time with D.P. Murphy Hotels, Zinck was also general manager of Future Inns Hotel & Conference Centre, where she directed operations of the 128-room property, including 10,000 square feet of meeting space.
