Lisa MillerThe Old No. 77 Hotel & Chandlery, located in New Orleans’ Arts District at the intersection of Tchoupitoulas and Lafayette Streets, has tapped Lisa Miller to lead the hotel’s sales efforts. Miller most recently served as the Senior Business Transient and Travel Industry Sales Manager for the Ritz-Carlton New Orleans. Prior to that posting, she worked in sales and operations at Ritz-Carlton properties in Washington, D.C. and New York City and New Orleans. As Director of Sales, Miller will manage the marketing and sales efforts for the Old No. 77 Hotel & Chandlery. The property opened earlier this year with a light, airy design that allows the building’s authentic 1854 warehouse architecture to shine. The décor pay homage to the hotel's industrial past and allows art created by students at the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts (NOCCA) to shine while practical amenities, like free Wi-Fi, provide the modern necessities plugged-in travelers require. The main floor is home to a lobby featuring plenty of space to congregate and relax as well as art galleries featuring works from NOCCA and Where Y’art, a Julia Street art gallery, plus a Chandlery where items from New Orleans makers are available for sale. The Old No. 77 Hotel & Chandlery is also home to Tout La, a coffee shop, and Compére Lapin, the much-heralded debut restaurant from Nina Compton.
