Matt MacDonald has been appointed VP of business development at Miraval Group
MacDonald formerly was associate director of real estate investment management & acquisitions for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide in Stamford, Connecticut, where he helped manage the acquisition and disposition of wholly owned company hotel assets. Before that, he was Starwood’s manager of real estate investment management & acquisitions and an investment analyst in real estate management. From 2006 to 2011, MacDonald worked for Madison Capital, a leading real estate investment and operating company, and Blue Lime, a marketing agency, in New York. He earned a bachelor of science degree in real estate and marketing at the University of Denver and a master of science degree in real estate finance at New York University.
