Ian Palmer has been appointed General Manager at Capital Club Dubai
The Capital Club, Dubai’s premier private business club, has appointed a new General Manager, Ian Palmer, a seasoned hospitality and club expert with three decades of extensive experience in international hotel operations. Palmer hails from London and started his career in 1991 with the Savoy Group of Hotels and Restaurants. He has a notable record in setting up, re-establishing and working with some of the most successful hotels and clubs in the UK, including: Stapleford Park Golf and Country Club, Home House, The Arts Club, Kofler & Kompanie, Buddha Bar and The Club at Café Royal. In his last role, Palmer served as General Manager of Devonshire Club; setting the business up from conception to execution over a period of two years and launched in early 2016. As General Manager of Capital Club Dubai, Palmer will oversee and manage Dubai’s team, the long-term strategy and operations leading the flagship club to new heights of success. He will be responsible for reviving the club by identifying and implementing new practices, adding value through expansion and excellence in the start-of-the-art services and actively improve membership communications.
