Tod Chambers has been appointed Managing Director at Waldorf Astoria Chicago and Conrad Chicago
The AAA Mobil Five Diamond Waldorf Astoria Chicago and Conrad Chicago have appointed Tod Chambers as Managing Director of the two premier luxury properties located within The Magnificent Mile. In his new dual role, Chambers will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the luxury 215-room and 287-room hotels, both owned by Laurence Geller, reporting directly to Pascal Duchauffour, Area Vice President of Operations-Luxury Hotels, The Americas. Drawing on more than 25 years of experience with the Hilton brand, Chambers will serve as Managing Director of the Waldorf Astoria Chicago and Conrad Chicago, playing a key role in the day-to-day operations of the two luxury properties. Prior to this complex role, Chambers most recently served as General Manager of The Roosevelt New Orleans, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel. Under his direction, The Roosevelt won multiple accolades for highest guest satisfaction, as well as increasing profitability and RevPAR index. Before joining The Roosevelt, Chambers served in a plethora of managerial roles at Hilton properties across the United States, including Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, Pittsburgh, and Nashville, before serving as the opening Hotel Manager at the Hilton Americas Houston. Named “General Manager of The Year” by Hilton’s Luxury Division for four consecutive years from 2012 to 2015, Chambers brings with him irrefutable merit and a promise to elevate the level of excellence at these two cherished Chicago properties.
